Owner, Don Christie, worked for a local cab company 21 years ago and soon found that he was not satisfied with how the company
conducted its business. They treated customers as herded cattle and were more worried about collecting fares than treating
customers with respect. Don had a vision to make transportation more enjoyable, comfortable, and dependable. It was this vision
that lead to “Express Transportation”.
Express Transportation started as a two-car company that transported customers to and from Toledo and Detroit airports. Don spent
almost 20 hours a day making sure his customers received professional and courteous transportation to their destinations. Word
spread of Express Transportation's unprecedented quality of service and the clientele list began to rapidly grow. Don soon decided
that he wanted to offer limousine rentals as another service to his customers. As Express Transportation's popularity grew to
new heights, Don felt the need to rename the company something that better reflected the business. "A-1 Accurate Transportation
and Limousine" was born.
Now, 21 years later, Don has an incredible fleet of 17 vehicles and continues to provide state-of-the-art limousine rentals to
the greater Toledo areas. One thing that makes A-1 Accurate Transportation and Limousine extra special is the fact that our
drivers are not only dedicated and loyal, but have a combined 55+ years driving experience. Our drivers are very knowledgeable
in navigating their way around all the major cities in the area, to include Toledo, Detroit, Cleveland, Dayton, Findlay, Bowling
Green, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Waterloo, and others.
